ABOUT THE ROLE
Cotton Images is looking for a detail-oriented Quality Control Manager to make sure every garment that leaves our facility meets our customers’ expectations. You’ll oversee quality across our screen printing and custom apparel production floor — from the moment materials come in until finished products are packed and ready to ship.This is a hands-on leadership role. You won’t have direct reports in the traditional sense, but you’ll have the authority to direct the quality work of our production staff, hold operators accountable to our standards, and recommend or initiate termination of staff who aren’t meeting expectations. You’ll work closely with the Head of Production to keep the floor running smoothly.
Prior experience in screen printing or the apparel industry is a plus, but it’s not required. We’re more interested in finding the right person — someone with a strong eye for detail, good judgment, and the confidence to lead. We’ll train you on the technical side and give you the support you need to succeed.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Inspect incoming garments, supplies, and finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and customer specifications.
Identify defects such as smudged prints, missing colors, misaligned designs, holes, stains, or incorrect sizes; remove defective items, document findings, and coordinate corrections or reprints with production supervisors.
Monitor print production for color accuracy, registration, and overall print quality.
Perform quality inspections throughout the production process and document and resolve quality issues.
Communicate quality concerns with production staff and provide guidance to maintain company standards.
Maintain quality control records, track defect trends, and report improvement opportunities to management.
Ensure finished products are properly folded, labeled, packaged, and prepared for shipment according to customer requirements.
Audit compliance with production procedures, safety requirements, and quality control standards.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe quality control work area.
- Support production leadership by holding team members accountable to quality expectations and recommending corrective actions when necessary.

• Mantener registros de control de calidad, monitorear tendencias de defectos y reportar oportunidades de mejora a la gerencia.
• Garantizar que los productos terminados estén correctamente doblados, etiquetados, empacados y preparados para su envío de acuerdo con los requisitos del cliente.
• Auditar el cumplimiento de los procedimientos de producción, los requisitos de seguridad y los estándares de control de calidad.
• Mantener un área de trabajo de control de calidad limpia, organizada y segura.
• Apoyar al liderazgo de producción haciendo responsables a los miembros del equipo del cumplimiento de las expectativas de calidad y recomendando acciones correctivas cuando sea necesario.

- The confidence to lead. You’re comfortable telling someone their work isn’t meeting standards and explaining what needs to change.
- Excellent communication in both Spanish and English. You’ll need to clearly explain quality standards and corrective feedback to production staff.
- Reliable and punctual. The team needs you on the floor when production is running.
- Comfortable on your feet. The role involves standing and walking on the production floor for most of the day.
- Basic computer skills for logging reports and tracking quality data. We’ll train you on our specific systems.
- Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the U.S. — all legal documents must be current and valid.
- Must pass a background check prior to hire.
WHAT IT’S LIKE WORKING HERE
We want to be upfront about the work environment. Cotton Images is a screen-printing production facility, and the production floor can get warm, especially during the summer. However, we do everything we can to keep the environment as comfortable as possible. This role requires standing, walking, and inspecting garments throughout the day in a fast-paced production setting.
