Job Title: Network Administrator

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Network Administrator to manage, maintain, and secure our organization’s network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will ensure reliable network performance, troubleshoot issues efficiently, and implement best practices for network security and scalability.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain network hardware and software (routers, switches, firewalls, access points)

• Monitor network performance, uptime, and security

• Troubleshoot network issues and outages in a timely manner

• Manage LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless networks

• Implement and maintain network security measures (firewalls, access control, monitoring)

• Perform regular backups and disaster recovery planning

• Document network configurations, procedures, and changes

• Coordinate with IT team and vendors for upgrades and maintenance

• Ensure compliance with company policies and security standards

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)

• Proven experience as a Network Administrator or similar role

• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, and routing protocols

• Hands-on experience with firewalls and network security tools

• Familiarity with Windows and/or Linux server environments

• Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus

• Network certifications (CCNA, CCNP, Network+) are an advantage

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred Skills

• Experience with network monitoring tools

• Understanding of cybersecurity best practices

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks

• Good documentation and organizational skills
