Customer Service & Account Coordinator
Cotton Images
Annual salary: $60,000-$70,000, depending on relevant experience and demonstrated skills.
Cotton Images creates custom apparel for organizations including Hard Rock International, the American Red Cross and Carnival Cruise Lines. We are looking for a friendly, dependable person who enjoys helping customers, thinking through problems and making sure things get done.
You will work with professional buyers and purchasing teams who understand their organizations' needs and are familiar with placing orders. This is an opportunity to build ongoing customer relationships through clear communication, practical solutions and dependable follow-through.
You will coordinate custom apparel orders, keep customers informed and work with our team to turn questions and challenges into practical solutions. As you learn our processes, you will take responsibility for your assigned orders and follow through from the first request to delivery.
How we treat customers matters to us. When something goes wrong, we listen, get the facts and get to work on a solution. We want customers to feel confident that someone cares about their order and is staying on top of it.
What you will do
- Help customers throughout their orders. Answer questions, discuss product options, prepare quotes using our pricing guidance and provide clear updates.
- Get the details right. Confirm quantities, sizes, colors, artwork, pricing, delivery dates and addresses.
Check orders and changes before they move forward.
- Coordinate with the team. Work with art, purchasing, production, accounting and shipping to get answers, confirm arrangements and keep orders moving.
- Work through problems. Gather the facts, identify workable options and help customers make informed choices. This may include checking an alternative product, a different delivery date or a partial shipment while considering timing and cost.
- Stay on top of follow-up. Track approvals, missing information and open issues. Update customers when plans change and follow agreed actions through to completion.
- Keep clear records. Document instructions, approvals and commitments so everyone is working from the same information. Help identify ways to prevent recurring problems.
You will work closely with our President and CEO. The work includes routine order details, several active requests and occasional urgent situations. You will need to adjust priorities, use good judgment and involve the right people when help or approval is needed.
What we are looking for
- Workplace experience demonstrating responsibility, helpfulness and dependable follow-through.
- A friendly, patient approach and clear communication by phone and email.
- Practical problem-solving ability: you ask useful questions, check the facts and think through possible next steps.
- Organization and initiative: you keep track of your responsibilities and follow up without repeated reminders.
- Attention to detail, including checking quantities, prices and written instructions.
- Comfort using email, entering and reviewing information on a computer, following procedures and learning new software.
We welcome applicants from different work backgrounds, including customer service, retail, hospitality, reception, office support and other roles with transferable skills. Previous business-to-business or apparel experience is not required.
You should be willing to learn our products and processes. Excel experience is helpful; we are willing to train the right person.
What success looks like
Customers feel heard and know what to expect. Orders are accurate and organized. Our teams have the
information they need. Problems receive prompt attention, commitments are realistic and follow-up gets completed.
